Working With Me
Photography isn’t just about making images — it’s about how we move through a moment together. My approach is calm, observant, and rooted in respect for people, places, and the Light already present.
I don’t arrive to take over a scene. I arrive to pay attention.
Around here, I aim to be the culture section — not the gossip column.
A Calm, Observational Approach
Whether it’s a wedding, a family gathering, or a quiet moment in the field, I work in a way that keeps things natural. I give space when it’s needed, gentle guidance when it helps, and time for moments to unfold on their own.
Most of the images people love most weren’t staged — they were noticed.
Real Moments Over Perfect Poses
I’m less interested in perfection than truth. Rather than forcing expressions or choreography, I watch for the in-between — the glance, the breath, the pause before a laugh.
If you’re worried about being “awkward” in front of the camera, that’s normal. We’ll move at a pace that feels human, not hurried. Besides, it works best when we’re not both nervous.
Light Leads the Way
I work with natural light whenever possible and let it guide how and when I photograph. Light shapes mood, memory, and meaning — and learning to notice it changes everything.
Sometimes that means slowing down. Sometimes it means waiting. Sometimes it means trusting the quiet moment instead of rushing past it.
Before the Session
We’ll talk.
I want to know what matters to you, what you’re hoping for, and anything that might make the experience easier or more meaningful. Clear communication before we meet allows the session itself to feel relaxed and unforced.
During the Session
I won’t ask you to perform.
I’ll offer simple direction when needed, then step back and let the moment breathe. Many sessions feel more like a walk or a conversation than a photo shoot — and that’s by design.
After the Session
Your images are edited with care and consistency, honoring the mood of the moment rather than forcing a look. You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and order prints at your own pace.
Who This Is For
My work tends to resonate with people who value:
Authentic moments over polished perfection
Calm energy over constant direction
Story and feeling over trends
There will always be someone with a camera who charges less.
I’m not a street haggler, and I don’t compete on price. I won’t give you what someone else offers at half the cost — and you won’t find my approach anywhere else, at any price.
What I offer is time, attention, and a way of seeing that can’t be rushed or replicated.
When it comes to pricing, I have a simple view: what I charge is my responsibility; what you choose to invest is yours. My role is to be clear, honest, and consistent. Your role is to decide whether the value feels right.
If that sounds like you, we’ll likely work well together.
Respecting Time & Communication
I invest real time and thought into every conversation — planning sessions, discussing ideas, and helping people think through what they want.
If we begin that process together, I simply ask for the same respect in return. Clear communication matters. If plans change or life gets busy, just tell me. I understand.
What doesn’t work is disappearing after I’ve already given my time and energy. I’m generous with both — but I’m also protective of them.
A Final Thought
If you’re looking for someone to slow things down, notice what others overlook, and treat your story with care — I’d be honored to work with you.
