Learn with Me
Photography isn’t just about making images — it’s about learning to see again.
When I share what I know, I’m reminded of the very things I’ve covered over with time and experience. Teaching brings me back to that simple, honest joy of noticing Light.
Learning photography is really about learning to see:
to notice what others overlook,
to pause between the moments,
to find the Light in-between.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to go deeper, we’ll take it step by step, at your pace, in your way.
Photowalks
Sometimes the best way to learn isn’t in a classroom.
It’s out walking.
These sessions are built around slowing down and paying attention—to Light, to timing, to the quiet things most people pass by. We’ll spend time walking through town or backroads, talking through what you’re seeing and why it matters. There can be as much or as little technical instruction as you need—how your camera works, what settings do, how to shape an image.
But more than anything, this is about learning how to notice.
A reflection in a window.
An old building catching the last of the day.
A quiet street that feels like it’s holding its breath.
That’s where the good stuff lives.

Free Community Class (in the works)

Instead of payment, participants will help care for our shared spaces by picking up trash during a guided photo walk.
We’ll clean up and create — one frame at a time.
