Small-town parades feel different when you’re standing close enough to hear the engines idle and the crowd call out names. This gallery documents the 2025 Christmas Parade in Victoria Virginia — a night of trucks, holiday lights, familiar faces, and the kind of community you only find in Southside. Photographed by RJ Batte as part of an ongoing effort to preserve local life and celebration.
